World Milksharing Week is held annually during the last week of September. Our goal is to celebrate milksharing and to promote human milk as the biologically normal nourishment for babies and children.
It’s the 3rd annual Black Breastfeeding Week, and this year we are embracing the strength, power and unity of families and communities to lift every baby.
Women gather together to breastfeed and offer peer support to each other. Their friends, family and community join this celebration to promote and support breastfeeding. Volunteers from within the community host each location, hosting a Global Big Latch On creates a lasting support network for the community.
