Jodi Komitor

Jodi Komitor is the founder of the first kids yoga studio in the world! She founded Next Generation Yoga in 1998 in New York City after 6 years in the public school classroom teaching kids with special needs, she realized we all have special needs!   Jodi is considered a leading authority on yoga for kids. She has certified over 1000 kids yoga teachers and led NGY Teacher Trainings internationally. Jodi is the author of the best-selling book The Complete Idiot's Guide to Yoga with Kids, (Macmillan 2000), the star of Activity TV Yoga & the creator of the DVD: Whale Yoga for Kids.   Jodi has expanded Next Generation Yoga to the west coast and Jodi currently lives in sunny San Diego with her white boxer, Chants.
