What are the origins of our moral capacities?

That’s the question we explore in this episode of The Ideas Hour, co-hosted by David Cameron and Suzanne Zeedyk.

Suzanne Zeedyk, Kindred World board of directors member and Kindred Media contributor, and David Cameron are delighted to welcome Professor Darcia Narvaez, Kindred World president, to explore with us a topic that lies at the very core of what it means to be human.

The interview was originally recorded for the 2021-2022 series of The Ideas Hour, first broadcast on Teacher Hug Radio in Scotland. Narvaez works explores essential questions for today’s world. How do we best care for our babies? What has modern society lost that our babies need back? How does early care shape our moral capacities and thus humanity’s future? Many people have no idea how central infant experiences are to adult life, nor how much infancy shapes a society’s future. Professor Narvaez gives us much to ponder, and hopefully act on, in this stimulating, challenging conversation.
