Kindred World Posts & Films Featured in 1st Impressions Exhibit at Sofia University Conference
Kindred is proud to share highlights from the 1st Impressions Immersive Exhibit at the recent 2024 Global Mental Health Conference at Sofia University, where our materials and films were featured. The theme of the conference was Enlightened Minds, Compassionate Hearts, and Embodied Wisdom: An Integrative Approach to Advancing Mental Health and Well-Being Local, Global and Beyond! The conference wove together a rich tapestry of knowledge, innovation, and growth across multiple interconnected themes.
The 1st Impressions Immersive Exhibit, featuring a womb room, was staged at the conference by Kaiyros, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that re-envisions mental health discourse through the arts, education, media, and immersive community experiences.
“Including the inspired content of Evolved Nest and Kindred Media in the 1st Impression Exhibit felt as natural as it was compelling. The synchronicities between the two initiatives felt like connecting stars in a luminous constellation – each of Kindred’s endeavors seem to underscore the fundamental need for our global society to look critically and compassionately at “re-nesting” our human family towards a rebirth of human consciousness,” P. Jaspr Chang, LMFT, founder of Kaiyros.
“Displaying key articles from Kindred Magazine felt like nourishment for the roots of 1st Impression’s initial gallery, while having the short film Breaking the Cycle play at the final room of the exhibit was the intuitive bow that wrapped the experience together.”
