Biological Imperatives

“The billions of years that lay at the core of our biological existence have created patterns, biological needs, expectations. The momentum of these patterns establish pre-existing forces that guide and shape human development. Our biology anticipates and “expects” that its needs (imperatives) will be met. If not the system is thrown into confusion. Struggles to compensate, to adapt. There are thresholds, windows of tolerance that can compensate for Biological Imperatives not being met. Stress the system beyond these windows of tolerance and the system mal-adapts.”
